Iceland workshop itinerary
Day 1 - June 28
We will all meet in Keflavik and have a short introduction. We will start the tour at 1pm and head into the highlands. On a trip like this it’s important that everyone is aware of the fact, that plans can suddenly change due to weather. We will have lots of stops in the highlands and plenty of time to explore. We will set up camp in Landmannalaugar.
Day 2 - June 29
After capturing everything we want in the highlands we will head towards Seljalandsfoss. Iceland is a goldmine for roadside scenery, so it is important that the participants let us know, if they want to stop to capture something by the side of the road. We will set up camp next to the majestic Skogafoss waterfall.Day 3 - June 30
We will drive towards the campsite at Svartifoss where we will spend the night. However before we reach that, we will be photographing waterfalls, a beautiful canyon, black sand beaches and the diamond beach.Day 4 - July 1
We will start the day out by heading for a short waterfall hike, before visiting an amazing glacier. We will then continue to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, where we will set up camp.Day 5 - July 2
Today we will be venturing a bit of the main road, in order to visit two incredible sight. A beautiful waterfall with lava columns behind the water, and a stunning canyon. We will set up camp close to the canyon.
Day 6 - July 3
Today we are heading up north, and will have plenty of stops along the way. It is a beautiful drive, with vast landscapes all around. We will see if we can set up camp close to an amazing waterfall, a bit into the country.Day 7 - July 4
We will have a long drive today, obviously with lots of stops along the route. We are heading towards what is probably the most popular waterfall in the country, Kirkjufellsfoss. There are plenty of different compositions to capture, so we will spend the day walking around, and having a great dinner, as it is our last night together.Day 8 - July 5
We will drive back towards Keflavik, hoping to stop at the beautiful black church. Depending on when people depart, we should be in Keflavik around early afternoon.

Your mentors:
Niclas Glud
You can find me in rural villages in India searching for the best light. In the Chinese countryside photographing the locals and rice terraces. Or about to hike a mountain or volcano in South America or South East Asia in order to create something special.
As I finished my trip around Ecuador in 2013, I figured that I had found a new love. Not only the love for travel, but also of capturing beautiful moments and tell stories through photos.
Not long after I started studying photography on my own, and devoted every free hour to do so.
I slowly developed my style, and after a few years I started getting jobs from hotels, travel companies, product brands and car rentals.
I have worked with companies such as Visit Karakol, Lava car rental, Walking with nomads, Madeira Round Trip, Killa Expeditions, Trendhim, Ditur, Quintana Sao Joao as well as various tourism boards around the world.
This tour has been created in order to allow you to photograph each destination, at the best possible time. I will ensure that you are at the right place, at the right time. Furthermore I will assist you in any way possible, hold talks regarding composition and light, but also about post processing in order to share my knowledge.
