Peru workshop itinerary
8 day Vietnam photography workshop
Day 1: Meeting up in Hanoi
We start our trip from Hanoi and immediately head up north to the incredible Bam Gioc waterfall, one of the most beautiful in the world. The drive will take around 4-5 hours. We plan on shooting sunset here, sleep close by and photograph sunrise the following morning.
Day 2: Catching sunrise and moving on
We wake up early and head to Ban Gioc waterfall to photograph the sunrise. After sunrise we will have time to wander around the area and plan on shooting locations for sunset at the Cao Bang area, with its limestone mountains. We woll photograph sunset in Cao Bang and hope for beautiful light.
Day 3: Mu Cang Chai
After sunrise at Cao Bang we will have a long drive ahead of us. Around 8 hours to reach Mu Cang Chai, where we hope to arrive before sunset.
Day 4 : Mu Cang Chai
We will wake up early and spend the morning photographing the amazing rice fields. There are so many different subjects to photograph, and if we visit during late September we will have the opportunity to photograph the local farmers as they collect the rice by hand. We will be photographing sunset here as well.
Day 5: Moc Chau
We will again photograph sunrise at Mu Cang Chai before heading a bit further south to Moc Chau where we will photograph the beautiful tea plantations.
Day 6: Back to Hanoi
Up early to photograph the tea plantations for sunrise, before heading to Hanoi. The drive will take between 2,5-3 hours. In Hanoi we will photograph the train tracks between the houses, as well as head to the Quang Phu Cau village. We will only spend a night in Hanoi.
Day 7: Ha Long Bay
We will wake up early in order to head to Ha Long Bay. Here we will take a one day cruise and shoot sunset from the boat in the incredible surroundings.
Day 8: End of the tour
We will photograph sunrise from the boat, and then head back to Hanoi. This concludes our North Vietnam trip.

Niclas Glud
You can find me in rural villages in India searching for the best light. In the Chinese countryside photographing the locals and rice terraces. Or about to hike a mountain or volcano in South America or South East Asia in order to create something special.
As I finished my trip around Ecuador in 2013, I figured that I had found a new love. Not only the love for travel, but also of capturing beautiful moments and tell stories through photos.
Not long after I started studying photography on my own, and devoted every free hour to do so.
I slowly developed my style, and after a few years I started getting jobs from hotels, travel companies, product brands and car rentals.
I have worked with companies such as Visit Karakol, Lava car rental, Walking with nomads, Madeira Round Trip, Killa Expeditions, Trendhim, Ditur, Quintana Sao Joao as well as various tourism boards around the world.
This tour has been created in order to allow you to photograph each destination, at the best possible time. I will ensure that you are at the right place, at the right time. Furthermore I will assist you in any way possible, hold talks regarding composition and light, but also about post processing in order to share my knowledge.

I’m a professional Adventure Photographer specializing in meaningful storytelling through euphoric imagery.
Some creds - I’ve shot professionally for the tourism boards of Paris, Brussels, The Kingdom of Morocco, numerous wildlife safari agencies, and other eco-centric tourism companies.
I’ve been featured in Nat Geo Your Shot and also worked in unison with agencies in support of UNICEF projects in India.
From the sweeping sands of the Sahara desert, to the jungles of Brazil and Panama, the adventure has never been more thrilling, and I’m so excited to take you with us!
